Information about the first Mandolin Creek Dairy goat herd sire
Simba (b. 2017) came to Mandolin Creek Farm from a small farm near Marcolla, OR. A purebred Alpine, he did not come with papers, and we did not seek them as they seemed superfluous for our planned breeding program. Our plans changed, and we now wish we had asked for them.
As our first herd sire, he will be the progenitor of all kids born here in 2019, which we hope will imbue them with good genetics for milking and meat.
